A dog’s inner world
Have you ever wondered what your dog thinks about life? How he perceives the human world. And what about his position in the household? Does he feel treasured or merely an accessory? What is really going on in that little canine brain?
I am blessed with the ability to hear a dog’s thoughts and feelings during a healing session. Words, phrases, sometimes entire sentences float into my mind whilst in a deep trance. There are visual images too. All of these phenomena are messages, a means of communicating deep spiritual truths from one world to another. I like to think that they are sent to me for my enlightenment because they know that I am very curious. I like to learn! The result is an extraordinary insight into a dog’s inner world.
The ideas gathered together here are based on my own research. This article is about one particular dog called Mable. Her owner had contacted me because she was suffering from chronic exhaustion and weakness. After many months of expensive laboratory tests, medical consultations and veterinary drugs there had been little or no improvement. Modern medicine simply wasn’t helping. With an open mind I set about my task.
Very human feelings
Dogs express themselves to me in very human ways, as you will see. I suspect that this is quite deliberate. Obviously dogs are not humans! However, I am human and my best chance of understanding a dog is by being shown concepts with which I am familiar. A few woofs and growls wouldn’t enlighten me one little bit! Clearly what matters here is conveying the gist of the message as efficiently as possible, not whether it sounds realistic to a professional dog whisperer.
A strong psychic bond
What I have discovered is that dogs are focussed very much on one person in the household, the ‘leader of the pack’ in canine terms, and it is this one crucial relationship that affects their energy body the most. The bond between dog and master is a stronger link than with any other household member, no matter how much the others love the dog too. It is a psychic link. If that connection fails or falters then ill health may occur. Certainly this appeared to be the case with Mable.
Mable
Mable had been very frail for several months. Unable to move, eating little and obviously unwell, I was asked if I could intervene with some healing. While treating her I began to realise what was wrong.
I felt deep heartache in my physical body whilst hearing the word “lukewarm”. This was Mable’s way of expressing the sadness she felt at her master’s dispassionate attitude towards her. She craved a loving and fulfilling relationship with him and yet this was not forthcoming.
Loving and faithful
I was shown a beautiful bride. Wearing a gown of pure white, its train stretching far back towards the left, the bride stood by the groom’s side smiling towards him. She held his hand as they faced towards the right. The groom wore a grey suit.
This complex image, rich in symbolism, conveys many truths. It told me more about Mable’s life, the past included as well as the present. Above all it conveyed Mable’s state of mind, the reason for her poor health.
Mable feels united (bride) with her master as they face the future together (holding hands facing right). She is committed to him forever (wedded) with a purity of intent (white bridal gown). She has been faithful to him for many years (train stretches to the left). However, all is not well. There is a blockage on the master’s part (grey suit). He is unresponsive to her deeper needs because he lacks spiritual awareness (grey). This failure to relate in a meaningful way is causing Mable's deep sadness - itself the cause of her physical decline.
At this point in the healing another image appeared to me. The bride was replaced by a pretty teenager. She had curly blonde hair and was smiling. But her mini skirt, which somehow I expected to be colourful, was a dull grey and her tights were black. She faced the left.
The interpretation was clear. Mable's naturally buoyant character (happy teenager) was being stifled (grey) by this relationship.
She tried really hard to get a flirty fun relationship (mini skirt) off the ground with her master. This was in the past (facing left) when she was innocent, naïve (curly blonde hair) and still enthusiastic (smiling) about their union. But he wasn’t able to relate in that way. She feels sadness about the situation (grey gloom).
I hear the words “evergreen”, “never kissed”, “burnt out now” and “blue babe”.
Mable constantly yearns for a close heartfelt relationship (evergreen) with her master, but he doesn’t feel the same way (never kissed). It has never happened. Her unrequited passion has caused her current physical decline (burnt out now). There is no fun in her life any longer – just sadness (blue babe).
Spiritual flaws
Clearly this relationship has not been successful in spiritual terms. Her master’s inability to connect meaningfully (the core of the problem) is unlikely to be resolved soon. This spiritual shortcoming, a blemish on the soul even, needs its own particular healing.
On a higher spiritual level Mable is functioning well! It is her master who has the problems, not her. Mable's's decline is the bi-product of his deficiencies. Simple though it may sound in theory, a solution needs to be found.
A way forward
You might think that this is a deadlock situation but it is not so. Spirit will always find a way round, no matter how muddled or difficult it may appear to us mere mortals.
The colour green floods into view telling me that healing is now focussed on Mable's heart. Years of pining and sadness are being healed. "I feel better" she says. Mable's sadness is beginning to lift! Green fades away to be replaced by brilliant white, the colour of positivity.
Mable had been caught up in an eternal cycle of yearning for what cannot be. Healing has enabled her to break free. At last she can move on, now totally accepting of her master's spiritual failings. She has gained much wisdom in the process and strength of resolve too. Mable's profound negativity had been making her physically ill. Good health will follow in due course now that her energy body is much lighter, brimming with positivity.
